Dry Brushing Benefits: Guide to Exfoliation & Skin Health

Dry brushing benefits the skin by helping keep your skin smooth, soft, and healthy. By dry brushing, it helps with stimulating the sweat glands (which will decrease with age resulting in mature skin that often will cause your skin to be dry), which will stimulate the connective tissue and collagen in the skin. Here is why dry brushing is helpful to your skin.
- It helps to exfoliate the layer of dead skin which helps to enhance the skin's appearance. With age, our skin tends to decrease.
- Dry skin brushing helps keep the skin smooth, soft, and healthy.
- It stimulates the skin while approving the circulation which helps to improve elimination.

Important information
- never wet your brush. Dry brushing requires the brush to be dry. Water acts as a lubricant and by wetting the brush you lose the benefits of the friction are lost.
- Always use a natural bristled brush, use a long-handled bath brush The reason you do not want to use a nylon brush is it will tear the skin and disturbs the electro-magnetic balance of your skin.
-When you dry brush your skin start with small circles brushing all over your body on bare skin.
-Start at the feet and work toward the heart this helps to stimulate venous circulation.
